The Overlook is lovely and new, bright and open, with amazing close-up views of Cascade Bay and Rosario Resort from every main room. With vaulted ceilings, skylights, and a 300 sq.ft. deck that can be accessed from both bedrooms and the living room - it's
the perfect place to dine and enjoy all day sun.
The Overlook will delight two couples or singles traveling together because it offers two bedrooms that are equivalent in size and amenity. Each offers plush king beds, lovely linens, down comforters, snuggly throws, full-length mirrors, HDTV's, robes, hairdryers,
spacious bathrooms, and large fully-tiled showers with glass doors - amenities exceeding those offered in any luxury hotel. For greater privacy, one of the suites also has a separate entrance and "lock-off" interior door. Or, simply close or open a door across
an alcove in order to provide bedroom privacy while allowing one of the bathrooms to be shared with a guest who might be sleeping on the sofabed with inflatable mattress.
The living room centers on a propane fireplace and third wall-mounted TV with satellite reception. The well-equipped kitchen has honed granite counters, SS appliances, gas cooktop and electric range. Other amenities include wireless internet, a full-size
washer & dryer, and an iron & board.
The Overlook is an upper unit in a 4 condo building. There is a exterior entrance and the front door is 4 stair steps higher than the parking area. (Please note that those who enjoy sleeping under a canopy of stars will love the bedroom skylights, but as
they are not shaded, those who prefer total darkness at night may prefer Unit #207 or #209.) Small dogs will be considered providing they are very quiet and have well-trained people.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION: Walk to seasonal marina amenities (moorage, seaplane dock, whale-watching, kayaking, convenience market, dining & the Resort spa and pool.) There is a nearby trail to Cascade Lake and Moran State Park. The shops and dining in
Eastsound are a ten minute drive away; it's a 30 minute drive to the Orcas ferry landing.
