Hidden on a cliff above Deer Harbor, this wonderfully private high bank water view home on over five acres offers stunning east views of Deer Harbor Resort and Marina, Turtleback Mountain and Mt. Constitution from expansive multiple decks, and a glimpse of Mount Baker beyond.

Featuring a spacious main entry and a great room with hardwood floors, this multi-level home offers nooks for intimate conversation. The kichens is resplendent with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You'll find little things to enjoy, for example the waffle iron, espresso maker, and the ipod dock in the living area.

Also on the main level is a guest bedroom and bath with a claw foot tub. (The TV and the DVD collection is located in this main level bedroom.) The roomy master bedroom with private bath and shower is on the upper levelw with great views. A bedroom and bath in the attached guest wing has a separate entry for privacy. features bedroom, bath and privacy.

And a two car garage is also available for guest use.

The village of Deer Harbor is located about seven miles from the ferry dock. There you will find a dock with a small store and a post office. You may dine at the Deer Harbor Inn Restaurant. There's also public access to the salt water beach at the Deer Harbor Preserve. Want to go for a hike? Parking for the new Turtleback Mountain Preserve trail is not far, located near Massacre Bay. And the town of Eastsound, with shops and fine dining, is about 20 minutes away.

Magnicent decks! It was hard to go inside day or night.Watching the harbor or stargazing was really fun. The kitchen is great with lots of sunlight and windows that look out at the view and the decks. Roomy for more than one cook. The pup was in heaven exploring the forest with out intruding on any neighbors or the danger of a was VERY hard to leave.
Perfect Hideaway -- We were pleasantly surprised to find this rental property on Orcas. It definitely fit the bill during a somewhat hectic wedding weekend. The views from the house and deck are awesome!

We loved it and would definitely return!
It was a lovely house in a lovely location. I enjoyed every minute of this peaceful retreat. I have already recommended this home to several friends and I hope to stay there again in the coming months. The decor was very warm and soothing.

I appreciate that the owner accepted dogs. It worked well and was very dog friendly. I also found the kitchen well appointed and enjoyed cooking several fine meals during my stay. Thank you very much for your help with the DVD player and everything else.

This was the first vacation rental I have purchased. The location is remote on a bluff overlooking Deer Harbor. We appreciated the remoteness. The house was clean - although a few minor repairs are needed on things...like the dishwasher...upstairs shower. Very minor but should be fixed. The house has interesting decor with a variety of religious relics - kind of funny. There is a creepy sculpture in the front yard. We had two small children with us and the deck was great for them to play on. The kitchen had a lot of room and was VERY well equipped.

House needs window coverings to protect against over heating on warm days. Vacation property management was hostile.

Love the island and the location, but it's uncomfortable for a week's stay. The LR seats only 4 comfortably, and there are no reading lights anywhere, especially in bedrooms. A TV in the LR would help. Also, a hornets' nest made deck unusable.
