This waterfront home and separate guest cottage are sited on 7 private acres. Featuring sweeping views of Upright Channel, Eagle View offers a coveted southwestern exposure that provides incredible all day light and dazzling sunsets as you dine on the deck or cozy up by the fireplace indoors.

The home is cabin basic, and the property is quiet, private, and great for families. A large grassy space offers kids a place to play and there are woods to explore. If it's drizzly, toys, puzzles, TV with VCR & DVD and children's books are provided to keep them busy. Extra fold-out futons are also available to drop onto the floor!

A home combined with a guest cottage offers privacy to a variety of traveling companions. Those who claim the guest cottage will also enjoy a waterview, woodburning stove, electric heat, and their own bath. But, sorry, due to severe allergies in the owner's family, your dog is allowed ONLY inside the main house. The kitchen is very well stocked yet there's an atmosphere of kicked-back summer that entices you to enjoy the basics of our lifestyle on Lopez Island.

Eagle View is built upon high-bank waterfront and is conveniently located on the northern end of the Island which provides a convenient proximity to the ferry and village. It's about a half mile walk from the sandy beaches of Odlin Park where you'll also find a boat launch, day use dock and mooring buoys.

    Though basic in furnishings and decor, this property worked great for our situation. There is a million dollar view and the kitchen is well stocked. Suggestions would be to add hooks, drawers, something as there was absolutely no place to put clothes, i.e. no closets or chests. Also, the beds were, in fact, futons on a platform, which is most likely not really problem for most people, but should probably be specified in the listing. We had some special medical issues that were tricky because of the bedding. Otherwise, the home is comfortable and in an excellent location. The agents at Windemere (especially Cindy) were most helpful and professional.

    Let’s begin with the view, clearly a million dollar view from the deck, the living room and dining room. As the week progressed we really found ourselves wanting to spend the days relaxing on the deck. Be sure to bring binoculars to look for whales, otters, seals, fishing boats and the birds. The deer did come right up to the house and walk through the yard regularly. So the railed deck was perfect for keeping the deer out while keeping the dog and our young nieces contained, helping to keep all of us in a worry free relaxing vacation attitude. We have a small dog (Welsh terrier) and really appreciated the welcoming of our family member.
    There is a cabin feel to the kitchen, and because of the fantastic days and evenings we chose to use the charcoal barbeque and laughed as we regularly ate dinner after dark. Trying to get back to the house early enough to start the grill seemed to be our running joke.
    Since we were there over the fourth of July, we took in the Lopez fireworks on the bay. Glad we did as there was amble space and plenty to see. We even found ourselves impulsively waving at the passing cars. Be sure to wave!

    This is the third year that we have rented through Windermere the last two homes were clean and had everything you would need for living, this home was dirty , the carpet had spots and was not in good condition all the windows were dirty, the kitchen was very dirty and refrig, stove. The deck was covered in leaves from Fall the table was cheap and had chips and was painted shoddy. The dryer took forever to dry a load of clothes.We had to buy some cleaning supplies that didn't come with the home. The towels were of poor quality, very rough feeling. The plants on the deck looked nearly dead. It was not a good experience.There were ants everywhere including in the beds. We will not recomend this home to anyone we know.
