The home is tucked into a tranquil corner of Neil Bay at the north end of San Juan Island where you can watch the tide come and go, listen to the seabirds, launch a kayak (BYO). Just around the corner is “the isthmus,” a neighborhood beach that's a great
spot for watching spectacular sunsets. The quiet neighborhood streets provide a great base for walking and biking. Roche Harbor Resort is but a pleasant fifteen minute walk away, where you'll find many activities and the resources of a small market, post office,
marina, restaurants, airstrip, art park, kid's swimming pool, tennis, spa, and shops.
The home features numerous places to gather - converse before a beautiful stone-faced fireplace in the living room, watch a movie on the large screen TV upstairs in the den, or just peacefully relax on the deck looking over Neil Bay. There's room for many
cooks in a large kitchen with granite counters, a working island, two ovens, two dishwashers, micro, huge fridge, & gas cooktop. (There’s even a butler’s pantry with a second sink!)
Three of the bedrooms offer king size beds and each has a beautiful en-suite bathroom finished with marble and tile. The entry level master bedroom also has a fireplace, soaking tub, his and her closets and separate vanities. A fourth bedroom (also on the
main level) is set up for the kids with two twin beds plus a set a bunks. The bathroom (with a shower) servicing this bedroom is just outside the bedroom door. The bed configuration is designed for ten or fewer guests, however there is room for two sleeping
bags in the upper den, (or two pop-up portable beds can be provided.) Do note that
10+ guests are accepted only with the owner's specific agreement and there will be a charge of $50 per night per additional guest.
Guests are required to provide a $1,000 security deposit as a condition of rental; names and ages of all guests are required at booking confirmation. Peak Season Rates apply to stays during Winter Holidays.
