Afterglow Cottage has nearby access to a private strip of beach (known to locals as the isthmus) a good spot to birdwatch, observe boat traffic, or just sit on a log and enjoy the glow of the spectacular San Juan Island sunsets. Neil Bay is a quiet and peaceful
waterfront neighborhood, but it’s only a 20 minute walk to all the Roche Harbor Resort amenities, which include an airstrip, post office, market, gas station, sculpture park, shops, artist kiosks, spa, bar, café, and fine dining.
NOTE: Portions of Neil Bay can go shallow. Be sure to check tide charts and plan accordingly if you are arriving or departing by boat.
