SAN JUAN ISLAND VACATION RENTAL GUEST HOUSE WITH WATERVIEW & HOT TUB



This cute San Juan Island guest house is privately located behind the owner's main home. It's well appointed, comfortable, offers water views, beautiful gardens, and is in a great location near a community beach.

A short flight of stairs leads to the main level where you'll find the kitchen, dining, and living area as well as 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Water views can be enjoyed from these upper living spaces. The third bedroom with a double bed and the third bath are located on the lower entry level.

Guests may also share property amenties near the waterfront with the owners.These benefits include a hot tub on a lower outside deck and a treehouse, decorated just for children. (Do note that there is a drop from lawn to water so toddlers will need to be under supervision at all times.) If you have a kayak, you can launch it at the rocky beach accessible via stair steps to the water's edge.The owner also offers yacht tours on the Lucky Lady, a 43 foot Grand Banks - please inquire about boating details and availability when you book this home.

Limestone Point Guest House is near Reuben Tarte Memorial Park and only five minutes away from Roche Harbor Resort by car.

    The house was great but the photos made it seem like it was closer to the water than it actually was. One of the best parts to this property though is the owners! So friendly and helpful - really could not be nicer! Left us a beautiful welcome basket with treats and the house is really well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We will definitely be renting this one again.

    The property was nice but it was very cluttered, there was too many knick knacks, very large furniture for the size of the property and the placement of the furniture made it feel smaller than it was. This made it challenging with two children even though the description made it sound suitable for children. In addition, the description talked about the decks and hot tub - both of these are in front of the owner's house. If they were there - I would not have felt comfortable using them at all, it's not really a part of the property you are renting. And at night - you could not go down to the hot tub and enjoy it because you couldn't see the path. It was a lovely location, beautiful view and the owners were very nice. I would recommend it for couples or adults only but not for families.

    I would not reccomend to people with small children/beach not safe/steep lot/
    not much room to move around in living area. Should have been clear about pet situation/paid $35 a day for dog/was not made clear dog could not be in home/kennel was big but open at the top and there were many racoons who will and tried to attack our 5 lb Yorkie/owner sprinkled some kind of talc on bedding and I coughed and sneezed alot until I figured out what was causing problem.
    Lower bdrm had grey hair and black dog hair on covers. The white carpet was hard to keep clean because little buds off trees drop on deck and etc. etc.
    Anyway I tried to keep toddlers andhse under control for 7 days. No vacaton for me. So i would think adult only and just say NO PETS so peopel know what to expect.
    I could have spent half as much close to home and done just as well. I am a 26 yr Real Estate Broker so have some experience.

      The Property Overview has always stipulated that dogs are required to remain in the kennel outdoors so that those who find that unacceptable do not choose this home. We regret that your vacation was not more restful.

    The property location and views are wonderful. However, the property was not very well maintained. The gardens were overgrown and the interior was not well cleaned before out arrival including dirty floors, trash in the trash cans and dust on the furniture. The house was also overly cluttered with personal items so it was hard to find a place to put our stuff and it was hard to move around in the living areas. Finally, the hot tub chemicals were totally out of wack. We used the hot tube one time and it caused us respiratory problems and bleached the color out of our swim suits because the chemicals were so high.
