Solarium style windows are the focal point of this NW contemporary vacation rental home on San Juan Island. Stretching across the entire front of the great room, they frame an expansive blue-water view that includes the ferries as they arrive and depart
in Friday Harbor.
Part of that view might be your own boat because there’s a ramp leading to a shared 40’ dock with 30 Amp shore power and water. (Note: If you have a large boat, it is advised that you tie up to the mooring buoy and dinghy to the dock. Low tide can drop the
dock to a 4’ depth. Always consult tide charts before planning your arrival and departures by boat.) Dock is available May-October only.
It will be hard to take your eyes from the water as the floor to ceiling windows capture the views from living, dining, and kitchen areas. You’ll dine while the sea softens in the afterglow of the setting sun, maybe there’ll be a nighttime dip in the hot
tub to count the stars. The home has the requisite indoor entertainment options and the layout is great for couples traveling together or small families. The spacious master bedroom is on the upper level and features a king size bed and private bath; there
are two other bedrooms that share a bath just down the hall.
Carter Beach is rented in increments of seven days ONLY, with check-in on Saturdays during the Peak Season.
Carter Beach is conveniently located in a small, desirable area within a few miles of the ferry landing and the shopping and entertainment venues in the town of Friday Harbor.
